Who attends The Main Event Camp and what is the purpose of the event?
The Main Event Camp is an instructional and developmental-based event designed for all positions (QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB & DB) in the graduating classes of 2027-2030. The Main Event Camp is designed to help high school football players with goals and ambitions to play at the college level. Participant numbers are limited to maximize reps and competition between the campers in attendance.
Why should a student-athlete attend The Main Event Camp?
The Main Event Camp can help provide an opportunity for exposure on a local and state-wide level. Video and photography is captured by local content creators and shared on social media. The Main Event Camp is also attended by local and national scouts so top participants will be part of the in-depth coverage featured before and following the event. Participants performance from The Main Event Camp will be distributed to college coaching staffs at the D1-FBS, D1-FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO levels that follow the H2 Athletes network.
What can athletes expect when they participate in The Main Event Camp?
Upon arrival, athletes will check-in at the registration table. After checking in, athletes will receive their camp shirt then proceed to get a headshot picture and get their height, weight, wingspan and hand size recorded.
Once measurements are taken, athletes will group up in small pods and go through warmups followed by the combine circuit. A mandatory water break will follow combine drills.
After the water break, everyone is called up for coaching staff introductions. Shortly after introductions, the players will shift into the positional drill period.
Following the positional drill period will be the highlight of the camp: The Main Event. During The Main Event, offensive linemen will match up 1-v-1 against defensive linemen while skill players on offense will go head to head against skill players on defense.
What will players be tested in during the combine drills?
The 40-yard dash (electronically timed), L-Drill, Shuttle and Broad Jump.
Will participants testing results be made available to them?
Each participating player will receive their testing results at the conclusion of the event. Testing results will also be shared with college coaches that follow the H2 Athletes network, an underclassman football player highlight database that is free for all college programs in the NCAA, NAIA, and JUCO to utilize.
